Marine Boilers


The Marine Boiler Course offered has been compiled for Marine Engineering students to better their understanding of marine boilers, in order to prepare themselves towards a certificate of competency examination.

Course Details

The duration of the course is 2 days. The first day of the course covers boiler and steamplant theory, followed by the operational aspects of marine boilers, faultfinding etc. The second day starts with boiler feedwater treatment, and boiler steamplant simulation (starting a steam plant, steam turbines etc).

The courses are run on two consecutive weekdays as per the schedule below.
